BID Member Wins Artwork Concert

PERTH AMBOY – Kathy Shaw, vice president of Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, (center of photo) won the drawing for an original artwork titled “Blue Jazz” during the Perth Amboy Business Improvement District’s (BID) recent networking event and business card exchange. The painting was created by artist Jose Troche. The BID’s event was held at Seabra’s Armory Restaurant and drew 75 business owners and entrepreneurs. The UCEDC, a nonprofit economic development organization, presented a program about its low-cost commercial loans for small and mid-size businesses. Shown in the photo from left to right are BID Chairman Barry Rosengarten, BID Director Junel Hutchinson, who organized the evening; V.P. Kathy Shaw, Middlesex County Chamber; Jose Troche, the artist; BID Director Gary Rumpf, Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home; and BID Executive Director Roxana Troche.
