PERTH AMBOY – Yvonne Lopez (center of photo), CEO and executive director of the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, Inc. (PRAHD), was honored for her years serving on the Perth Amboy’s Business Improvement District (BID) board. Perth Amboy Mayor Wilda Diaz presented a plaque of appreciation to Ms. Lopez for efforts assisting the City’s local businesses and many communities. The ceremony took place during the BID’s networking event and business card exchange held at Seabra’s Armory Restaurant last week. More than 75 business owners and entrepreneurs attended the program that featured a presentation about low-cost commercial loans available from the UCEDC, a nonprofit economic development organization.
