PERTH AMBOY – Fireworks are not just a beautiful sight to behold for Independence Day. Fireworks are a symbol of our nation’s fight for freedom, of the resilience of the human spirit, and a reminder of how the very course of history can be changed when people unite for a common cause.
The Cities of Perth Amboy and South Amboy join this July 3rd to celebrate the spirit, strength and dedication of our three municipalities, by coming together to “Celebrate our Stars & Stripes” in skyrocketing style: With a Spectacular Fireworks Show and Independence Day Festival!We will provide a day of fabulous fun, food and festivities culminating in a world-class fireworks extravaganza by the renowned Garden State Fireworks Company.

In Perth Amboy, Sadowski Parkway (both sides) and Water Street (East Side) Lewis St. to the Raritan Bay Yacht Club, as well as Water St Both Sides from High St to Lewis St. will be posted as NO PARKING. Road will be closed to traffic at 6:00 pm. In South Amboy, parking will be available at the schools and transit lots.
