PERTH AMBOY — In observance of Black History Month, Concord Missionary Baptist Church, 795 State St. presented a program on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 12 Noon. The guest speaker was Hector Bonilla, Historian, Educator, Community Activist and Former Aide to The Mayor Of Perth Amboy. He gave an informative and enlightened account of “The Black Presence in Latin America.”
Program featured; song, dance poetry, dramatic performance and a special performances by Cimarrones, an Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba music ensemble.
