Aereon Documents Examined

PERTH AMBOY – John Dyke & News 12 Anchorman Kurt Siegelin examine rare documents from Perth Amboy’s past. Here News 12 is covering the 150th Anniversary of the Aereon. During the summer months of 1863, Dr. Solomon Andrews flew his Aereon airship over Perth Amboy. Such was the world’s first successful fully steerable air flight!

A News 12 spotlight will feature the Aereon that should air on Weds June 19th.
