PERTH AMBOY – A shooting reportedly took place in the early morning of Saturday, July 25. There were reports that 4 people were injured. Supposedly the incident took place between 1:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. It is unclear if the disturbance started inside the Z-Bar on New Brunswick Avenue or if it escalated to a nearby parking lot. When the Amboy Guardian called the Office of the Police Chief, a spokesperson said, “The incident is still under investigation. There are no comments at this time.”
