Charity Motorcycle Run Saturday, starting at 11 a.m.

Motorcycle Run FlyerThe David’s Touch Foundation will be hosting a “Touching Lives… One Child at a Time” Police Escorted Charity Motorcycle Run with the assistance of the Perth Amboy, Woodbridge and Carteret Police Departments on Saturday, August 9, 2014.  The run will begin, and end, at the Shannon Rose in Woodbridge (855 Saint George’s Avenue) – travel throughout Carteret, Sewaren and into Perth Amboy.

The event will begin at 11am with a commemoration ceremony and releasing of white doves in memory of my son David.  The ride will then commence promptly at 11:15am.  Both Mayor McCormac of Woodbridge Township and Mayor Diaz of the City of Perth Amboy will be in attendance.

For the past 4 years, David’s Touch has been escorted by the New Jersey State Police along with the Middlesex County Department of Corrections & Youth Services to a number of Children’s Hospitals to deliver toys to patients during the Holiday Season.  The backing we have received from several organizations and law enforcement officials has truly played an enormous role in our motto, “Touching Lives… One Child at a Time.”

This event will not only give us the opportunity to involve the public and to raise awareness on our mission to deliver hope and joy to a child at their greatest time of need, but it will be a day to memorialize the life of a little boy who has and continues to touch so many.
