Sharon Hubberman running as GOP Freeholder Candidate

republicanThe Middlesex County Republican Organization have announced its Republican slate for the upcoming Middlesex County election. Alex Barletta of South Plainfield for Middlesex County Clerk, Jose Alonso of Edison and Sharon Hubberman of Perth Amboy for the two Middlesex County Freeholder seats. Each of the candidates were unanimously supported at the Middlesex County Republican Convention and each GOP candidate is running unopposed in the primary.

Jose Alonso, a small business owner, joins Sharon Hubberman, who is a Financial Executive, Entrepreneur, and former Mayoral Candidate of Perth Amboy, in the race for the Freeholder seats against incumbents Ron Rios, and James Polos.

Both Alonso and Hubberman are looking forward to tackling two problems that have been ongoing concerns for many residents of Middlesex County; a stagnant job market, and rising property taxes.

“Living in Edison for 34 years, I’ve experienced how the property tax bill keeps climbing and the regulations keep mounting, and these issues are both a top priority.

“My concerns for the economy stem from the fact that we continue to see an exodus of people and companies leaving New Jersey at a very fast rate and we need to find solutions that keep our residents and businesses invested in our communities,” Alonso said.

Hubberman also plans to help find solutions to these issues. “Working families are the pillars of America, and small businesses are the future of our economic growth. It is important to recognize this and have a plan to adopt a much needed property tax relief strategy, and a plan for job growth. In helping small businesses grow through nnovation and access to capital, our economy will grow and this in turn will help our working families build their earnings potential,” Hubberman said.
