Amboy Bank to Open New Branch in Matawan’s Cheesequake Area

MATAWAN – On Monday, April 3, 2017, Amboy Bank will be opening its new Cheesequake Branch located at 95 Matawan Road in Matawan. As a result of the new branch opening, Amboy Bank will be closing its Laurence Harbor branch located at Laurence Parkway and Shoreland Circle on Friday, March 31, 2017.

The new Cheesequake Branch will have a grand opening celebration on Saturday, April 8th from 9am to 1:30pm.

According to Gregory Scharpf, Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer, the celebration will include free coffee and pastries from 9am to 11am, and free hot dogs, soda, ice cream and popcorn from 11am to 1:30pm. There will be free face painting for kids of all ages. In addition, the first 100 adult visitors will be given a free dollar coin…who said banks don’t give away free samples?

One of the highlights of the celebration at Amboy Bank is the “Instant Rewards Game.” Each of the first 300 adult visitors will be able to pick a disk from the game board. All disks are winners of either a cash prize from $1 to $500 or a local store gift certificate. The new branch will also have a month long sweepstakes to win a 55” smart television, Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones or an Amazon Echo & Dot. Entry blanks are available at the branch.

“After 52 years in Laurence Harbor, we are pleased to be moving to a modern new branch and bring our innovative products and quality service to the people in the Matawan area,” said Scharpf. “As part of our month-long promotion, we’re offering Bonus Rate CDs, a new Direct Checking product and our Advantage Banking package of enhanced products, preferred rates and complimentary services.“
