NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY AND PUBLIC HEARING 

CONSOLIDATED PLAN ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND 

EVALUATION REPORT

PROGRAM YEAR 2016

City of Perth Amboy, New Jersey

Notice is hereby provided that the City of Perth Amboy, NJ has completed its draft of the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the 2016 Program Year for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership programs. This report contains information including: 1) summary of the resources and accomplishments, 2) status of actions taken during the year to implement the goals outlined in the Consolidated Plan, and 3) evaluation of the progress made during the year in addressing identified priority needs and objectives.

This report is available to the public for review at the Office of Economic and Community Development located 375 New Brunswick Ave., 3rd floor, Perth Amboy NJ 08861. 

A fifteen-15 day public comment period will begin on Monday, October 2, 2017 during which the public is invited to address written comments to: Adam Cruz, Office of Economic and Community Development, 375 New Brunswick Ave., 3rd floor, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.  

The City will also hold a public hearing for citizens desiring to comment on the CAPER report on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 6 PM in the Third Floor Training Room of the Perth Amboy Firehouse, 375 New Brunswick Avenue, Perth Amboy NJ 08861. Perth Amboy intends to submit the final 2016 Comprehensive Annual Performance Evaluation Report to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about Friday, October 27, 2017.
