Market Street, Smith Street & Herbert Street Roadway Repaving Notice

PERTH AMBOY – The City of Perth Amboy is pleased to announce the full length paving in and near the downtown district. Please note that on or about Monday, April 9 – 23, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Middlesex County Department of Public Works will be milling and paving the following streets in the City of Perth Amboy.  Milling will proceed in the following order:

• Market Street  –  Herbert Street to High Street Circle
• Herbert Street  –  Smith Street to Market Street
• Smith Street  –  Route 35 to Ferry Slip

Paving will then begin on Herbert and Market Streets while milling Smith Street. Once Market Street has been paved completely, paving will proceed on Smith Street.

The milling and paving of Herbert Street, Market Street and Smith Street will take approximately 10 days (weather permitting). Parts of Market Street, Smith Street and Herbert Street will be closed down during the paving operations. All residents should plan alternate routes during the paving work.

Aviso de Pavimentacion a las Calles Market, Smith y Herbert

La ciudad de Perth Amboy se enorgullece en anunciar la pavimentaci6n completa en el distrito de nuestro centre comercial y dos otras calles cercanas. Tenga en cuenta que alrededor del lunes 9 al 23 de abril de 2018 de 7:00 a.m. a 3:00 p.m., el Departamento de Obras Publicas del Condado de Middlesex procesara y pavimentara las siguientes calles de la ciudad de Perth Amboy:

• La Calle de Market desde la Calle de Herbert hasta el Circulo de High Street
• La Calle de Herbert desde la Calle de Smith hasta la Calle de Market
• La Calle de Smith desde la Ruta 35 al Ferry Slip

La pavimentaci6n comenzara en las calles Herbert y Market mientras la Calle de Smith se prepara para ser pavimentada. Una vez que la Calle Market haya sido pavimentada por complete, entonces se continuara la pavimentacion en la Calle de Smith.

La molienda y pavimentacion de las Calles de Herbert, Market y Smith tomara aproximadamente 10 dfas (si el clima lo permite).
