Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center Appoints Director of Emergency Department

PERTH AMBOY, NJ – Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Winston Ramkissoon, MS, MPH, RN, CPPS as director of the Emergency Department in Old Bridge and Perth Amboy, effective October 7.

Prior to joining Raritan Bay, Winston served 24 years of dedicated service to Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center. He served as the manager of the Emergency & Trauma Department at both Hackensack University Medical Center and Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center. Additionally, he served as the manager of Performance Improvement and Regulatory Compliance for the Department of Patient Safety and Quality.

As a leader responsible for implementation of quality and safety redesign initiatives, Winston successful redesigned, developed, and monitored numerous performance activities related to the Department of Patient Care, Quality and Safety Department and the Joint Commission Disease Specific Care Program. 

For more than 100 years, Raritan Bay Medical Center Emergency Department has been the trusted Emergency Department for the community. Responding to approximately 5,000 calls each year in the surrounding communities, our certified paramedics trained in advanced life support are able to administer life-saving interventions at the science of an emergency.
