Woodbridge Public Library Events for December

Listed below are the free events we have planned for December 2022. We will be hosting events both in-person and virtually throughout the month. Please make sure to check which format the presentation will be presented in.

Fords Adult Craft Night

History of Holiday Songs
Get in the holiday spirit! From Pagan Christmas Carols and Hebrew Zemirots to modern renditions of popular favorites, this program presented by the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts will explore the evolution of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa music that embody the holiday season. Join us as we welcome author Lalit Nigam as he discusses his new book, Voices From A Golden Era. Voices from a Golden Era is a biography like none other! The Tragic Wreck of the John K. Shaw: A Hit and Run at Sea
Current president of the New Jersey Historical Divers Association Daniel Lieb will tell us the riveting story of the John K. Shaw, the first three-masted schooner ever built on City Island which tragically sunk off the Woodlands on the New Jersey coast with the loss of its entire crew.
