While New Jersey is aptly named the Garden State, our state is much more than its famous Jersey tomatoes, corn, or blueberries! Join us for this enlightening presentation on garden plants of New Jersey’s past – connecting people and plants with science and story.

Lesley Parness is a lecturer and columnist of the Garden Historian, and is founding member and past president of the Garden State Gardens, a consortium of New Jersey’s public gardens. She has worked in public gardens in the United States and abroad for the past four decades.
