Are you a great baker, do you know a great baker, or are you someone who just loves eating great home-baked desserts? If it’s a “yes” to any of the above, then this will be a fun event for you!
Tickets are now available for our Fat Tuesday event on Tuesday, Feb 13th. A Royal Bake-off contest will be the centerpiece of our Fat Tuesday celebrations, followed by Afternoon Tea in the mansion’s colonial wine cellar. Festivities start promptly at 2 PM. Admission is: $15 for Members; $20 for Non-members.
We invite anyone who can bake a dessert that’s fit for a Royal Governor to enter Proprietary House’s Royal Bake-off contest. The first six lucky bakers to submit their entries on our website will share their delectable creations and recipes with us at Proprietary House on Fat Tuesday. And those six bake-off contestants will enjoy FREE ADMISSION to the Fat Tuesday & Royal Bake-off event.

Afternoon Tea on Fat Tuesday will be served following judging of the bake-off and announcement of the winning entry, Assorted teas, delicious cakes & desserts will be served in our atmospheric, brick & stone wine cellar.
