PERTH AMBOY, NJ— Mayor Wilda Diaz and the Office of Emergency Management has designated three cooling centers due to high temperatures.

Alexander F. Jankowski Community Center located at 1 Olive Street:
Open M-F from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Raritan Bay Area YMCA located at 357 New Brunswick Avenue:
Open M-F from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Perth Amboy Public Library located at 196 Jefferson Street:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: CLOSED.

If anyone sees a person who needs help, they are urged to call the Perth Amboy Police Department at 732-442-4400. If needed, transportation will be provided by local emergency responders.
