News Release May 4, 2013—

PERTH AMBOY — The Perth Amboy Democratic Organization has proudly had committeemen and committeewoman who have always acted to better serve our community, and keep the best interests of Perth Amboy at heart. While Kevin McCabe appears to be the heir apparent as Chairman of the Middlesex County Democratic Organization, I would like to see if McCabe fully supports our Middlesex County Democratic Freeholder candidates and our Perth Amboy Democratic Organization County Committee Candidates who are on the Middlesex County Democratic Organization line “B” slate, this primary election. An endorsement from McCabe would indicate that he values unity, and values the voters in Perth Amboy. Currently, our Middlesex County Freeholder candidates and our County Committee candidates of Perth Amboy have a contested Primary election because Mayor Wilda Diaz and her team have their own slate running against the Middlesex County Democratic Organization to promote Mayor Diazʼs own political agenda, which does not display unity for our Democratic party. Until I see support from McCabe, as the Chair of the Perth Amboy Democratic Organization, I have no further comment.
