Terotha “Tee” Frederick for Perth Amboy Council

A Youth Advocate

Terotha L. Frederick

Terotha L. Frederick has been a resident of Perth Amboy for 26 years. She married the love of her life, Mr. Edward Frederick and is the proud mother of two adult chil-dren, Tychelle and Westley. Most residents in Perth Amboy lovingly know her as “Tee” or “Coach Tee” because she has always been active with our City’s Youth.

Both of her children graduated from the Perth Amboy Public School system and her daughter is in the Air Force serving our country, while her son works with her husband. “Tee” was also a “wrestling mom” and she made sure that each child she met at the matches felt welcomed, safe, and cared for.

Her passion for the care and growth of children has called her to serving as a Baseball and Softball Coach for over 15 years. Over the past two years Terotha has worked as a Recreational Aide on a part-time basis for the City of Perth Amboy.

Terotha aspires to help a new administration move Perth Amboy forward. Because she is passionate about children, she wants to make sure every child she comes in contact with feels special.

Spending time with her grandchildren and baking are the most important activity for “Tee” because it means more family time.

“I am running for council because I see that our youth and children need a voice to speak up for their needs. I’ve lived here long enough to see that we need change, and I hope to help our community be better and prosper.”
