Eagle Scout Service Project

Submitted By: Edward Williams, Troop 95, South Amboy, NJ
SOUTH AMBOY/SAYREVILLE – On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Edward Williams (center) and Troop 95 worked together to clean up and repair the Julian Capik Nature Preserve and Archery Range.
Eddie shared how much the park impacted his upbringing:
“The Julian Capik Nature Preserve has many memories for me because I have been camping here since I was a cub scout. The project gave me the opportunity to use the planning, developing, and leadership skills that I learned throughout my years in scouting. Giving back to my community not only by beautifying the archery range but also by making it safe for everyone to enjoy is truly rewarding. Thank you to all of the local hardware stores that were willing to supply the materials for my Eagle project. I am extremely thankful for how hard the scouts, leaders, families and friends of Troop 95 worked to support my project and make it a success.”
