Joseph Paul Maciejewski

PERTH AMBOY – Joseph Paul Maciejewski of Perth Amboy, NJ, passed away on the morning of 07/15/2021 at 8:30 at the age of 86. He struggled with cancer for over a year, and put up a good fight. Although his first name is Joseph, he went by Paul. Paul retired from GSK Pharmaceuticals maintenance department, where he was a licensed electrician. He loved to travel, meet new people, learn their cultures, and hike. He had an interest in photography, took many photos on his travels. Paul had many interest, world & medical news to name a couple. He owned a boat long ago, enjoyed water skiing, and enjoyed the company while doing so. Paul loved his neighbors/neighborhood, and they loved him. His neighbors, Pedro & Eli, helped him in many ways the past couple of years during his struggles. He said he couldn’t find better neighbors then the ones he has now. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and is predeceased by his parents, Ignatius Maciejewski & Anna Merlock, his siblings, Henry, Edwin & Marion Salas, a niece Janice Maciejewski and nephews Stephen and Robert Salas. Surviving are his brother Edwin’s wife, Doreen and 5 of her children, Judy, John, Jim, Joyce & Joe. And his sister’s children, Sherry Copper, Daniel, David, & Paul, along with relatives of his mother, the Merlock family, located in the Dorothy, NJ area & other areas. Plus great nieces & nephews & their children. Although gone, Paul will not be forgotten. R.I.P., no more pain, no more struggles.
