Move Along

Did President Biden and Vice President Harris reassigned South Park’s Officer Barbrady to the United States/Mexican Border to assist the Border Patrol security forces. In response to a question from a reporter who wanted to see firsthand what was going on, Officer Barbrady said “Nothing to see here, move along”. Over one million illegal immigrants smiled as they also took Officer Barbrady’s advice in 2021 and continued to move along across the border. Even more will do the same in 2022. No time to test for or take any vaccines to deal with COVID-19.  No need to carry any ID cards when traveling around the nation that they have been vaccinated.

ANOTHER ONE!

So, yet another variant rears its ugly head, and it is called Omicron. What ever will we do now?

I’ve done some research, and this is what I came up with. Ready for this?

The FDA revoked the EUA for the monoclonal treatments from the companies Regeneron and Eli Lilly. Their reasoning is, and I quote,

“Based on its ongoing analysis of emerging scientific data, specifically the sustained increase of SARS-CoV-2 viral variants that are resistant to bamlanivimab alone resulting in the increased risk for treatment failure, the FDA has determined that the known and potential benefits of bamlanivimab, when administered alone, no longer outweigh the known and potential risks for its authorized use. Therefore, the agency determined that the criteria for issuance of an authorization are no longer met and has revoked the EUA.”

That is what they said in April.

“In light of the most recent information and data available, today, the FDA revised the authorizations for two monoclonal antibody treatments – bamlanivimab and etesevimab (administered together) and REGEN-COV (casirivimab and imdevimab) – to limit their use to only when the patient is likely to have been infected with or exposed to a variant that is susceptible to these treatments. 

Because data show these treatments are highly unlikely to be active against the omicron variant, which is circulating at a very high frequency throughout the United States, these treatments are not authorized for use in any U.S. states, territories, and jurisdictions at this time. In the future, if patients in certain geographic regions are likely to be infected or exposed to a variant that is susceptible to these treatments, then use of these treatments may be authorized in these regions.”  

That statement was released this month.

Now it has been said that current vaccines are also not effective against the dreaded Omicron variant, but they didn’t revoke their EUA for the vaccines. I wonder why.

And what happened to the Delta variant? Did it just go away? We were all made to be so afraid of Delta but what happened to it?

Well, they came up with booster shots for the ineffective vaccines. Now, if you believe the government, if you let them put these things in your body, you will not get so sick as to be hospitalized or die. Yea right.

I know a few people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Most high risk. Most over sixty-five and overweight. Some with pre-existing conditions like COPD and cancer. Some vaccinated, some not. None have been hospitalized and none have died from it. When I asked some of them which variant, they had they said, “I don’t know” and they, the hospital staff in the ER, don’t know. Each were given different treatments and sent home, some just sent home and still some never sought medical treatment, just testing. So, you tell me.

“We the People” seem to have a dilemma on our hands. That dilemma is, what or who do you believe or trust. There is so much out there, beside the what the CDC, FDA, and NIH say, that you don’t know who or what to believe. Now we all know that our government would never lie to us, right. Well, that’s all well and good if they would only agree on something. If you don’t believe me, just go to their websites and start reading. Make sure to click on the clickable links in each paragraph and read what it says. You’ll be amazed.

I personally think that, if this disease is as bad as the government says it is, then all weapons at our disposal should be on the table, not just what the politically correct crowd wants or deems to be appropriate. The old adage, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” somehow does not apply in this case.

Somehow if you question the validity of a preventative measure, you are automatically labeled as a “vaccine denier” or a “COVID denier”, or some such thing. But the opposite is not true, go figure.

My point is, as I have stated earlier, if this disease is as bad as the government says it is then all options to fight it should be on the table, period. If a doctor wants to prescribe a medicine for treatment or prevention, then so be it. If you want to be vaccinated then so be it, and vice versa. Let’s stop the political thing and stop COVID-19.
