Three Bright Spots in the Perth Amboy Board of Ed Meeting

A video presentation was given at the 4/10/14 BOE Meeting spotlighting the elementary schools which were involved in Operation Shoebox. The Ceres, Flynn, Patten, Richardson and Wilentz Schools students presented shoeboxes filled with school supplies to James Monroe Elementary School Students.

Perth Amboy Students present Shoe Box Donations to James Monroe Students

Thomas Mundy Peterson Day Celebrated at St. Peter’s Church

EDITORIAL: A Joyful Occasion

The majority of the time when I go to City Hall, it’s to cover municipal meetings and they are not always pleasant, but recently I had the pleasure of being there when Abraham Pitre was sworn in as the new Fire Chief. I was also present at the swearing in of former Fire Chief Dave Volk – and that, too, was a very joyous occasion.
